Position Description:

CGI Federal is looking for a big picture strategist and in-depth problem solver to provide technology recommendations and data strategies to design solutions that solve a variety of business objectives and IT solution needs. The Solutions Architect understands cloud services and technology ecosystems, architectures, and trends, and provides technical consulting to CGI Federal business units and customers as a true trusted advisor.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct briefings, white board sessions, and collect customer requirements

• Create and present high-level solution designs/architecture to both internal and external customers

• Create customer facing presentations to vet CGI solutions and create awareness of our core strengths and intellectual Property (IP).

• Establish relationships and partnerships to assist in finding opportunities, closing opportunities, and enabling growth and delivery.

• Assume the role of technology advisory; understand customer business processes and map them to technology solutions

• Identify cyber technology trends and industry needs; create cyber strategy solutions for CGI Federal IP and Non-IP solutions development

• Create optimal repeatable solution architectures and proposals

• Identify risks & mitigations at all stages of the solution development lifecycle

• Build initial case model and architecture in support of CGI Federal solutions

• Manage proposals from start to finish to include solution development, Basis of Estimates (BOE), risks and mitigations, concept of operations (CONOPS); work with proposal management to ensure all elements are presented in a successful fashion.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's Degree and 10+years of successful experience in solutioning & advisory in enterprise IT, platform/cloud or professional services. Recent experience solutioning for federal clients required.

• Experience in building business and technical use cases to drive technical outcomes validated with return on investment modeling

• Strong experience with emerging and vastly used technology concepts such as low/no code, data analytics, cyber, RPA, cloud, high availability infrastructure, and AI/ML.

• Experience working with Agile development teams and Product Development Life Cycle

• Consistent track record in delivering enterprise large-scale solutions to market

• Secret Clearance and/or PCII Authorized preferred, Ability to obtain either required

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $116,900-$204,600.
