CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a ServiceNow Developer supporting a shared services PMO. You will enhance the cyber security posture of numerous civilian government agencies through the DHS CDM DEFEND program. You will actively identify and mitigate a wide range of cyber risks and will also work closely with a wide variety of agencies, learning their mission, priorities, organization and unique challenges. This opportunity will support a dynamic, fast-paced and energetic project running 20+ concurrent implementations.
Serve as the CGI ServiceNow Developer delivering capabilities and services for a major cyber security program supplying leadership and guidance to all contract personnel for DHS and other targeted agencies and organizations participating in the program.
The candidate will lead and assist in developing and integrating capabilities according to the TOR and integrate agency requirements, where applicable, by collaborating with agency teams and operations teams supporting each CDM client agency.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Hands-on and required to work closely with Service Delivery Managers, PMO Analysts, team leads and CDM partners.
Read and understand the TOR and the strong ability to demonstrate its relationship to the requirements for all agencies and on all activities.
Designs, develops, enhances, debugs and implements software.
Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
Researches, tests, builds and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility and multiple platforms.
Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Acts as team leader on projects.
Instructs, assigns, directs and checks the work of others on the development team.
Participates in development of software user manuals and technical reports.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree required.
Extensive knowledge and experience with ServiceNow.
Experience developing web-based applications.
Experience testing web based applications – both manual and automated.
Experience with functional, regression and load/performance testing.
Experience with relational databases.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Prior experience working for/on federal client sites.
Experience working on integrating SELC review gates into an IMS supporting project lifecycle implementation teams.
Experience with CMDB tools and other enterprise resource management tools.
