This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office with work performed at client site in Lafayette, LA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Responsible for facilitating and championing the agile software development process.
• Maintain a smooth operation of our agile processes and activities
• Responsible for leading daily stand-ups, backlog prioritization meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives and other Agile activities
• Responsible for communicating with the customer and the team, tracking tasks and quality deliverables
• Work with team to identify, document, manage risks/issues in a timely manner, coordinate and collaborate with right stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved and closed
• Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
• Experience with maintaining user documentation in a development operations continuous testing and deployment environment
• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
• Facilitate agile ceremonies throughout team’s iterations
• Knowledge and experience of IT systems, database, operating systems, COTS product, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing to be able to troubleshoot simple technical/configuration related issues prior to handing it to the development team
• Continuously coach teams to higher levels of Scrum Maturity
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• BA/BS in Business Administration, Computer Science, or an equivalent education
• At least 5 years of previous experience leading and managing agile IT development projects
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills is necessary to be successful in this role
• Proficiency in automated project management tools such as Microsoft Project, including financial, and schedule reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in analytical, organizational, project management, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Customer- and relationship-focused, process-driven, metric-focused, results-oriented, organized, self-directed.
• Ability to multi-task and solve problems innovatively
• Expertise managing and orchestrating Agile development and O&M teams.
• Proficient in the use of tools and methods to efficiently manage product releases, sprints, and development cycles.
• Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with maintaining user documentation in a development operations continuous testing and deployment environment
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to pay careful attention to detail
• Self-motivated
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Working experience in an Azure cloud environment

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800.00 - $168,900.00.
