Position Description:

CGI has a need for a Requirements Manager to join our CDM DEFEND team. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting a variety of government clients.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide central point of contact across multiple portfolios for Requirements Execution support.

  • Lead and coordinate system requirements planning, schedule and deployment management at a program level for different initiatives.

  • Translate business and system needs into solution requirements for Designers, Developers and Testers using requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, verification and management techniques.

  • Elicit, document and elaborate on requirements work products and formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.

  • Prepare detailed specifications for review and approval in CCB processes.

  • Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.

  • Experience working on all phases of requirements analysis activities.

  • Monitor/track requirements

  • Tracing allows us to understand why the requirement exists, the impact of change, if the set of requirements is complete and helps prioritize requirements.

  • The Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) is a method and tool for tracking of requirements.

  • Manage and control changes to requirements.

  • Enable the project team to determine how and why a requirement has changed over time, as well as help ensure that a review of requirements is being conducted on the correct version of requirements, and not an old version.

  • Report requirements compliance and metrics.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

  • 5-7 years of SELC Requirements Management or testing experience.

  • Managed multiple/concurrent releases in the parallel development, waterfall and Agile methodologies.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Critical eye for detail.

  • Positive attitude.

  • Able to multitask effectively.

  • Have excellent time management, task planning and prioritization skills.

  • Able to adapt quickly to changing client requirements.

  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
