Position Description:

Put your years of experience into a future of excellence at CGI Federal. We are seeking a Project Manager (Army) to support operations in Fairfax, VA.

The selected innovator will have the opportunity to support the Warfighter with through the development of a cutting edge software solution that provides big data information for Army Leaders.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The project manager will be the main interface with the Army leaders during the implementation of the integrated software solution. The project manager interviews the customer to validate software and dashboard requirements. Works with major stakeholders for coordination of internal and external resources. The project manager will be the lead software integrator responsible for tracking and monitoring multiple levels of software integration tools to create a unified product. The project manager will be in charge of developing the project plan and the overall project schedule and implementation, adjusting priorities and resources as required. Identify the project Work Breakdowns Structure. Manage requests for changes. Provides risk management and mitigation or avoidance recommendations. Responsible for reporting to the customer and the internal organization.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• A Bachelor's Degree and 20 years' experience is required for this role.

• Experience at a senior officer or NCO of the Army working for Army Staff, FORSCOM staff, or Major Commands.

• In depth understanding of Army readiness and aspects of the different Army requirements of personnel, logistics, and operations.

• Experience with project management of software applications

• Technical understanding and experience with data integration

• Excellent client-facing and internal verbal and written communication skills

• Solid organizational skills to include high attention to detail and multi-tasking

• Experience with quality improvement and lessons learned

• Strong understanding of the DoD Acquisition process

• Solid technical skills with software architectures and the personnel developing them

• This position requires a minimum Secret clearance.

• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

Desired qualifications:

• PMP certification a plus

• Database expertise a plus
