Position Description:

CGI is currently seeking a Project Management Analyst (PMA) to assist with Project and Financial Management administration. This is a full-time position with a competitive benefits package including salary, paid vacation, 401k, medical, dental, and vision.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The PMA will provide operational assistance and support to CGI’s Mid-Atlantic business unit and its Project Managers. Specifically, the PMA will support financial operations and help achieve efficiencies with tasks associated with project maintenance, forecasting, revenue recognition, invoicing, A/R maintenance, and SOX compliance.

The PMA will also provide ad-hoc reporting and support operational initiatives and tasks as needed, providing an independent decision on how best to resolve issues.

He or she should have strong organizational skills and demonstrate strong written and verbal communications skills. The PMA must be able to communicate effectively with senior managers and team members.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum 2 years administrative support experience at the senior/executive level in a large organization

  • Resourceful, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Ability to support and take direction from multiple leaders

  • Extremely proactive, with an energetic and professional demeanor and high sense of urgency

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and take direction without follow-up

  • Self-sufficient and understands how to effectively utilize internal resources

  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse, globally dispersed, and virtual team

  • A sensitivity of and an ability to interact effectively with a global team

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and data integrity is maintained

  • Very proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Professional corporate image combined with strong interpersonal skills

  • Flexibility and ability to work overtime and/or outside of normal business hours as needed

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science preferred

PMP Certification desired but not required
