Position Description:

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager. You will enhance the cyber security posture of civilian government agencies as well as actively identify and mitigate a wide range of cyber risks. You will work closely with a wide variety of agencies, learning their mission, priorities, organization and unique challenges. This opportunity will support a dynamic, fast-paced and energetic project running 20+ concurrent implementations.

This person will serve as the CGI Lead Systems Integration Manager and senior subject matter expert for a major cyber security program supplying overall integration leadership and guidance to all contract personnel for DHS and other major agencies and organizations participating in the CDM Program. Providing solutions and integration of solutions by leading and assisting in the delivery of cyber security projects for various agencies. The successful candidate for this position is a highly motivated individual, with a strong IT security background who excels integrating, operating and deploying security technology and solutions including interacting with clients. The successful candidate is a self-starter who works effectively leading in a highly dynamic environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Lead Systems Integration Manager is a key member of the project leadership that is responsible for providing technical integration for cyber security solutions while integrating and maintaining a wide range of security technologies to include capabilities, such as vulnerability management, network access control, compliance assessment, identity management and governance for Federal IT networks. Knowledge and experience in identifying cyber security threats by integrating solutions to provide continuous monitoring sensors, tools, diagnosis, mitigation tools and Continuous Monitoring as a Service (CMaaS) to strengthen the security posture of government networks. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of IT environments focusing in operations and security risk management. Duties include:

  • Analysis of systems security, gap analysis and development/implementation of federal security standards and procedures in accordance with NIST, OMB, FISMA and others.

  • Participate in technical assessments of industry leading cyber security products.

  • Perform vulnerability and penetration testing across an enterprise to include workstations, servers, applications, network devices and perimeter security devices.

  • Work with customers to resolve issues with compliance of systems in relation to NIST Risk Management Framework.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Active TS clearance required

  • Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

  • Bachelor's degree + 15 years of experience required.

  • Experience in developing and integrating cyber security solutions across a diverse and heterogeneous IT environments across multiple government agencies.

  • Experience in providing technical integration advice to senior level leaders within the government.

  • Experience in managing and supervising multi-disciplinary cyber security teams and systems integration personnel.

  • Experience and an understanding of the DHS System Engineering Life Cycle (SELC).

  • 10 plus years of experience in managing complex cyber security systems integration projects.

  • Current CISSP, CISA, CISM, Security+ or CEH certification.

  • Experience in security integration projects across multiple disciplines for government agencies.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Security Engineer with an emphasis on security solution integration based upon security policy and emerging cyber security technologies.

  • Minimum of 5 years working and delivering NIST Security Authorization requirements, developing and enhancing organizational security risk posture through analysis with a proven understanding of reporting IT security metrics.

Desired skills:

  • Experience in completing, leading or directing the work of others on projects similar to the size, scope and complexity of the work and environment providing technical leadership in Enterprise Architecture (EA), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and IT Service Delivery to multiple government agencies.

  • Demonstrated experience in providing security solution design using existing and emerging technologies to achieve enterprise solutions with an understanding of the following:

• Define, plan and develop information security systems for example Tenable Nessus, Tripwire, Splunk, Arcsight, FireEye, McAfee, Symantec, Trend Micro, HP Fortify, IBM Appscan and other

• Implementation of Firewalls, IPS, and network boundary security

• Contribute to the development and tracking of IT Security deployment projects plans.

• Monitor and control the performance and status of security devices, including routine testing, analysis and other operational tasks.

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, processes and guidelines for IT security operations, support and maintenance.

• Maintain awareness of trends in security regulatory, technology, and operational requirements.

  • Strong understanding of and the ability to practically apply federal information technology guidance such as the NIST Cyber Security Framework, NIST SP 800-37 (Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework to Federal Information Systems: a Security Life Cycle Approach), NIST SP 800-137 (Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) for Federal Information Systems and Organizations) and the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Program.
