Position Description:

CGI Federal seeks a seasoned Government Compliance Director with significant experience in the U.S. federal government market. The Director is responsible for managing all aspects of CGI Federal’s compliance with U.S. federal government contracting rules and regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and CAS. In this role, the Director acts as the DCAA and DCMA liaison, leads compliance improvement projects, and ensures compliance with all applicable contract reporting requirements.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for all government contracting compliance requirements and initiatives.

• Acts as the main interface with DCAA/DCMA on compliance and audit-related matters.

• Ensures timely preparation of all required regulatory submissions to the Government, including incurred cost proposals, provisional billing rate proposals, forward pricing rate agreement proposals, business system audits, CAS disclosure statement updates and associated cost impact statements, etc.

• Acts as the main point of contact for allowability and compliance related proposal questions.

• Designs/maintains compliance-related processes and controls.

• Provides internal government compliance training.

• Leads/supports special internal projects.

• Manages CGI Federal’s Government Compliance team, which includes a DCAA/DMCA compliance staff, an Internal Auditor, and a Government Property Specialist.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• A minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in the Federal contracting industry.

• Possess a deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and Deltek CostPoint.

• Strong work experience with DCAA audits/reporting and ability to anticipate and resolve potential issues.

• Ability to independently multi-task and meet deadlines.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to manage/mentor a diverse team of professionals and work collaboratively with other functional groups.

• A CPA/CIA is a plus.

• Experience with Deltek Costpoint strongly preferred.

• A significant portion of required work experience with a large, CAS-covered federal government contractor
