Position Description:

CGI is actively seeking an Operations and Maintenance Project Manager motivated to grow their career in supporting the Momentum Financials software at a large federal agency. Candidate will join a dynamic team over-seeing the day-to-day activities, including Tier 3 support, software releases, and implementation of required federal initiatives. This is a long term position and work will primarily take place at CGI Federal's headquarters in Fairfax, VA with frequent local travel to client locations in Washington, DC. Specific functions will include, but are not limited to managing day-to-day delivery operations, the client relationship, and team members with a diverse set of experience levels and skillsets. This is a great opportunity to use project management, client management, and member management skills supporting an enterprise-wide financial system for a federal client.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage daily service and delivery operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to responding to client requests, preparing and/or reviewing client deliverables, communicating risks and issues to client stakeholders, and preparing project plans.

  • Manage team members. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assigning team members project responsibilities that align with career and development goals and meet the clients’ expectations, preparing and communicating performance expectations and reviews, and overseeing administrative functions for team members.

  • Coordinate tasks and deliveries with technical team

  • Collaborate with multiple delivery teams across the client account team

  • Manage client relationship through regular engagement with designated client stakeholders

  • Attend and participate in meetings with project staff and clients at various levels

  • Prepare executive status briefings and provide input into financial forecasts

  • Assist CGI leadership with preparing technical proposals for future project opportunities

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Must have knowledge of Momentum Federal Financials Software

  • Must have experience in leading Operations and Maintenance projects of similar size and scope

  • Must have working knowledge of the software development lifecycle

  • Minimum 8 years experience directly managing teams

  • Must be organized and have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Must have client management experience and be able to interact with a wide range of stakeholders

  • Experience with Momentum upgrades is desirable
