Position Description:

CGI is actively seeking an experienced Program Manager for a large program providing Information Technology support and services to the United States Federal Government. These services include: software development, implementation, and maintenance; testing/quality assurance, systems security, project management, planning and acquisition support; IT education and training. This support serves a wide-range of systems, comprising both commodity, infrastructure-level IT and mission-specific systems. This is a long term position and work will primarily take place at client facilities in the Washington DC Metropolitan area.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating the management and overseeing of all work performed under a large, complex program provided IT services and support to the US Federal Government. The Program Manager will manage and is responsible for coordinating all activity for the program, all personnel and subcontractors, and will serve as the central point of contact for the US Federal Government customer, Contracting Office Representative, and Contracting Officer; has full authority to act on the behalf of CGI in the performance of the required work and services under all the program’s contract vehicle and associated task orders. This Program Manager must have the ability to work independently or under the general direction of CGI Federal’s senior executive leadership on all phases of performance.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

•Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

•Min 12+ years of IT and Consulting Services experience.

•Min 6+ years directly related experience of managing large, complex IT Services or similar programs with simultaneous task or call orders.

•Deep understanding and knowledge of the U.S. Federal Government Public Sector and the IT industry.

•Ability to interact with C-Level decision makers.

•Results oriented business leader with solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, planning, P&Ls, and complex pricing models.

•Experience with contract and management, project/task order management, coordination of resource needs, coordination with corporate resources and management, and effective and timely deliverable management.

•Client engagement management and relationship building.

•A keen, flexible and aggressive intellect; superior conceptual thinking as well as analytical and problem solving skills.

•Be independent, self-starting, and be able to stay calm under the pressures of multiple deadlines.

•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels.

•Proven record of creating and maintaining business partnerships and relationships

•Certified Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.

•Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.
