Position Description:
Are you looking to make an impact by joining a growing, dynamic team supporting a large Government Agency? CGI Federal is seeking an experienced leader to join the program. Contribute to the growth of the program by bringing your expertise in support of program delivery, member growth and development, business development and operational excellence. You will be part of the overall leadership team and provide expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and thought leadership to the client and CGI members. This is a great opportunity for a current Director of Consulting Services member or others ready to grow their career and pivot into that space.
This position can be located in either our Fairfax, VA office or our Lafayette, or Lebanon offices; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
This position will require that the Partner work in either a CGI office or client site (majority are in DC or VA) a minimum of two days a week.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Manage the overall success of multiple inter-related projects and customer relationships.
• Lead a team of professionals towards achieving customer, business, and member development goals.
• Manage program and project-level scope, issues and risks and quality management.
• Manage client relationships and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, based on collaboration, trust and partnership, including in-person meetings with clients at their government sites in Washington D.C and Northern Virginia.
• Build strong consulting skills and relevant domain knowledge to provide strong client connection and impact
• Provide status regarding program health to clients and key stakeholders, with both the customer and internal to CGI.
• Ensure contractual requirements are met, controlling scope and schedule.
• Establish well managed financials including forecasting and invoicing; manage profitability of engagements.
• Contribute to account growth by identifying and leading growth opportunities through client and partner meetings, networking, and other channels.
• Qualify business development opportunities and manage the opportunity through the BD cycle, including staffing, capture strategy, and financials.
• Manage and contribute to the development of winning proposals and presentations that communicate business solutions based on client business requirements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience consulting to the federal government in IT with a proven record in successful project delivery
• Hands-on experience with business development, including proven contribution to the growth of programs via on-contract growth and/or net-new wins
• Strong people management, experienced in leading, empowering, and developing high performing teams.
• Project management experience with a successful delivery track record
• Strong decision making, judgment and analytical skills.
• Business acumen with solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, planning, P&L’s, and pricing.
• Experience with client engagement management and relationship building.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated emotional intelligence; ability to juggle numerous client stakeholders, delivery, and business development activities.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Experience supporting the Federal Financial Management, Asset Management or Procurement Management domains
• Experience supporting U.S. Federal justice/law enforcement organizations
• Experience implementing, upgrading, or supporting Momentum, Sunflower, or equivalent federal solutions.
• PMP

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $137,500.00 - $297,700.00.
