Position Description:

Join CGI’s dynamic team charged with developing and modernizing the IT systems for a Federal agency that helps make affordable housing a reality for millions of Americans. Bring your talent to a brand new opportunity to help the federal government modernize a suite of applications in the mortgage backed securities market.

Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols. Collaborates with other functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of functionality. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, systems or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. Prepares reports and makes recommendations.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

With guidance from the Project Manager and in collaboration with team members, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Analyzes development artifacts for completeness and quality

• Analyzes code to ensure code is developed to CGI standards

• Monitors work to ensure full compliance with HUD Program management and CGI program management guidelines

• Reviews all documentation/artificts for quality and sufficiency of completeness

• Perfroms risk assessments and creates risk registers with mitigation recommendations

• Performs ‘post mortems’ on systems once complete

• Prepare reports for PM and Clients on QA deficiencies and projected impacts to projects

• Works with PM(s) to correct deficiencies

• Other duties as assigned

• Creates run reports on overall monitoring of each systems to monitor system performance over the life of the system

• Helps PM prepare for CGI and Client health check status meetings

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

This is a senior level position with a bachelor’s degree plus 16 years of relevant technical experience (or equivalent) required. Successful candidates will possess:

• Strong analytical skills and technical quality assurance knowledge (PMBOK, CMMI key process areas, operational analytics, etc.)
