CGI is currently seeking a self-motivated, intellectually curious finance professional with a strong work ethic to join our Finance Business Engineering (FBE) team and work closely with sales and Business Engineering to create financial models related to large new sales proposals. The Bid life cycle that FBE is typically involved in usually covers many phases, from initial kickoff to financial modeling to proposal preparation to due diligence to an executed contract.

Your future duties and responsibilities:


• Develops overall pricing and financial strategy for largest, most complex and strategic opportunity pursuits. Pricing strategy is developed in collaboration with capture manager and senior account management, as part of overall competitive win strategy.

• Responsible for financial strategy development through full pursuit life cycle, from early approach development, solution development and costing, internal approvals, pricing submissions, and client negotiations.

• Understands pursuit requirements and client needs as expressed in RFP or other client communications, in order to collaborate with solution team in solution development.

• Partners with technical solution leads to ensure that prices are in line with price-to-win strategies and competitive intelligence.

• Articulates solution principles, schedule and timeline during internal review/approval sessions.

• Works directly with clients and account executives to understand client business needs, and to financially architect deal and payment structures resulting in deal models meeting both client and CGI business needs.

• Contributes to development of competitive intelligence information assets.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:


• Bachelor of Science degree with a business, accounting, or finance focus

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial environment within a large organization, preferably as a Manager or Senior Financial Analyst / Pricing Analyst

• Highly proficient in Excel, Power Point and other MS Office applications.

• Communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

• Strong analytical skills, with an eye for detail

• Organized, able to prioritize conflicting demands, and able to work within tight deadlines

• Strong client focus and results-oriented

• Comfortable working under minimal supervision or in a group environment
