Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to join a project team which is leading a business critical initiative to enhance functionality and deliver the best experience available to its customers through implementation of an enhanced shipping application. The Functional Analyst will act as a trusted business partner, provide functional expertise and represent the business to IT teams to provide improvements in mission-critical enterprise-wide information systems.

This role is located in Denver, CO.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for understanding the overall business model, engaging in business and IT discussions, gathering requirements, writing business and functional specifications, explaining issues/requirements to technical teams, performing end to end testing, solving business and system issues in assigned modules/areas and serving as a true liaison between business and technical teams. This role will engage in end to end functional analysis, testing and delivery of state of the art system functionality, system modifications, handling of existing day-to-day operations of IT systems including but not limited to problem analysis and issue resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Secure and refine requirements, collaborate on solution design, build functional specifications, and provide testing support to ensure solutions meet the requirements

• User Support in troubleshooting both application and business process issues

• Identify innovative solutions to business issues in technical development

• Engagement with the business and providing status updates, facilitating calls with operations, business and leadership

• Improve process flow and user documentation to enhance team knowledge and competency

• Other duties as assigned based on business needs

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Understanding of Warehouse and Logistics management

• Proficient at developing and executing business process specific test scenarios

• Demonstrated proficiency authoring basic to complex queries in SQL and understanding of PL/SQL

• Superior verbal and writing communication skills, interpersonal skills, strong adaptability skill and strong analytical skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment coordinating with internal customers to help support and enhance business systems

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment including the ability to work collaboratively with business users

• Ability to work independently on development projects

• 8 years of experience, at least 5 years as a Functional Analyst

• Previous experience in logistics / distribution

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $52K-$115K*
