Position Description:

CGI is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Solution Train Engineer (STE) to join our growing team. The STE's major responsibilities are to facilitate the Solution Train events and processes and assist the ARTs in delivering value. STE's communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement. We are seeking a candidate who has proven leadership skills, the ability to think critically and problem-solve, and a track-record of ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met. STE's work with the Solution Manager and Solution Architect to create alignment via strategic themes for the solution. Ideally the candidate will be SAFe certified and engaged in several Agile programs based on SAFe.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Facilitate solution level meetings RTE sync, solution sync, pre and post PI planning.

• Organize and maintain PI planning calendar and multi train schedule.

• Facilitate prep and planning at the solution level considering client commitments and solution level capacity.

• Lead solution and other RTEs regarding planning practices and metrics reporting. Prioritize information needs and provide process direction to enable meeting those needs.

• Lead and facilitate solution level knowledge management practices including use and linkage among ensemble, Jira, Confluence, AHa!, and other related tools facilities. Identify future strategy with respect to these and related tools.

• Lead and prioritize improvement ideas related to improving flow and organizing around value. Be a driver on the solution for lean agile principals.

• Identify challenges and suggest improvements related to further adoption of the “Second Operating System” as described by SAFe Business Agility practices.

• Identify and help resolve intra ART level concerns and risks during PI execution.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Able to model lean agile leadership. Lead by example, growth mindset, curiosity, promotion of continuous learning.

• Ability to facilitate solution level events and support Train and team level events as required.

• Ability to collaborate with Solution Circle, Maintenance, Feature Trains and teams to create an environment conducive for organizational agility.

• 3-5 years managing teams and / or significant complex projects.

• Proven, prior experience as Release Train Engineer or Solution Train Engineer for long lived value streams and Products.

• Demonstrated Solution Train Engineer experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation. Experience coordinating multiple teams in a technology environment.

• Ability to easily build new relationships and proactively establish a variety of contacts across the organization.

• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural, global teams.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Advanced Communication and Leadership Skills

• Three or more years of experience in the Credit or Financial industry

• SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification

• SAFe Certified Release Train Engineer certification or equivalent

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $79k-$120k*
