CGI has an immediate need for a Java Automation Developer to join our financial services team in Plano, TX, Columbia SC, Lafayette LA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.
This position is a part of the strategic initiative's projects in the Securitization and Servicing area working on the latest tech stack.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
In this role, you will perform analysis, design, development, and perform automation testing. You will resolve defects and perform configuration repository administration activities including stream and directory creation, source code archiving, etc.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Min 5 yrs IT Industry experience
• Mid-level enterprise-level Java developer
• Experience in developing test cases using automation tools like Cucumber and Selenium is a must
• Minimum of 2yrs experience with either Struts or Spring MVC, and Hibernate
• Experience in applying test automation
• Experience with creating and consuming both SOAP-based and RESTful Web Services
• Strong working experience with core Java APIs
• Experience working in an Agile Environment
• Experience in Oracle from a Java development standpoint
• Ability to write batch or standalone jobs
• Experience in Unix scripting
• Experience in DB/SQL
• Good communication skills
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information System or related field
