Position Description:
CGI, a Platinum Salesforce Implementation Partner, is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst. The Salesforce Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements to allow for the configuration and development of the Salesforce platform to ensure the client’s business needs and objectives are being met by the solution. This person will work with our clients to understand their business needs and help deliver value through technology using Salesforce.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
● Cultivate and nurture relationships with our clients through transparency, organization, and impeccable communication
● Ability to manage customer conversations and drive requirements gathering sessions for both functional and non-functional requirements with technical and non-technical customers
● Stay up to date on new Salesforce features/releases/products
● Conduct sessions with stakeholders to gather and confirm business requirements
● Analyze and consolidate information to support the development of solutions to ensure business requirements are achieved
● Provide support to stakeholders in managing system and process changes
● Provide advice on application solutions
● Produce functional design documentation
● Create test scenarios for applications and enhancements, ensuring functional requirements are met
● Facilitate testing of Salesforce functionality
● Utilize and champion agile techniques to deliver successful project implementations
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
● Salesforce Administrator and/or Business Analyst Certification
● 1 – 3 years of prior Salesforce experience
● 3+ years of business analyst experience
● Experience facilitating workshops and discussion sessions
● Experience in data modelling, process mapping and specification documentation
● Experience with data migrations between Salesforce and other systems.
● Experience in creating business cases for technology-related solutions
● Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment
● Strong written and verbal communication skills - must be able to effectively convey information and recommendations to clients (technical and none-technical)

• Understanding of Salesforce Features: Familiarity with key Salesforce modules such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, as well as platform tools like Flow, Apex, and validation rules.
• Configuration Skills: Ability to configure Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, process automations, and reports.
• Requirements Gathering: Proficiency in conducting stakeholder interviews, documenting business needs, and translating them into technical requirements.
• Process Mapping: Experience in mapping business processes and workflows, identifying areas of improvement, and suggesting Salesforce solutions.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve business challenges using Salesforce functionalities.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, and end users to ensure alignment.
• Clear Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical solutions to non-technical users.
• Workshops and Training: Ability to conduct workshops, training sessions, and user testing

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300- $150,200.
