Position Description:

CGI is looking for a talented Business Systems Analyst with Empower experience to join our financial services team in Miamisburg, OH. Your future duties and responsibilities:

With guidance from the Management and in collaboration with team members, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Participating in user story creation and requirements analysis, data gathering, interviews and facilitated sessions, analyzing and documenting functional business requirements to assist in the software development

• Formulating and defining systems scope and objectives based on both user needs

• System Analysis to improve the data quality & reporting

• Analysis of required Data and development of SQL Scripts

• Devising/implementing new reports or enhancing existing ones for end users

• Responding to ad-hoc data enquiries from data consumers/end users

• Providing advice to data consumers on what data can be provided either in data feeds or in reports

• Working with developers and subject matter experts to identify risks or compromises and facilitate adjustments needed to meet project objectives

• Devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems

• Supporting the IT lifecycle processes

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

5+ years of relevant technical experience required.

Successful candidates will possess:

• Understanding of and experience with the mortgage banking industry

• Experience working on Black Knight’s Empower product for Loan Origination (required)

• Strong knowledge of later versions of MS SQL server technologies and ability to write complex SQL queries

• Strong leadership and collaborative skills with willingness to take ownership and responsibility for multiple assignments

• Superior analytical and problem-solving and resolution skills, and ability to adapt quickly

• Self-motivation and strong time management and organizational skills

• Ability to tackle challenging work situations and to resolve conflicts in a positive manner

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and solid technical writing experience

Skill Set: Business Analysis, Empower (Black Knight Financial) SQL (Data Analysis) Mortgage Banking

Education: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related IT field or equivalent combination of experience and education
