Position Description:
CGI is adding a Salesforce.com Senior Salesforce Developer to our team in Charlotte, NC. The core focus of this position is to develop Salesforce custom solution implementation for our global Digital Salesforce team. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements. You will leverage your technical expertise in Salesforce development to create scalable and efficient solutions that drive organizational success. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-class IT company, for a permanent position in the Charlotte metro area providing high-end IT services to local enterprise clients.
This opportunity requires the candidate be onsite in Charlotte, NC.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Implement complex business logic and workflows to automate processes and enhance user experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools, and custom integrations.
• Design and implement data migration strategies to ensure accurate and seamless transfer of data between systems.
• Architect scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions that adhere to best practices and design patterns.
• Perform code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce development best practices, tools, and technologies.
• Mentor and coach junior developers, sharing knowledge and promoting professional growth within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, and QA testers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders, providing guidance and recommendations as needed.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and updates, and evaluate their impact on existing solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the Salesforce platform.
• Implement robust testing strategies, including writing test classes with over 80% code coverage
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Salesforce environment
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Experience:
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Salesforce development, with a focus on Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components and 2 Years of experience in Salesforce Technical Architect role
• Experience with Salesforce Sales, Service , Experience and Marketing Cloud
• Salesforce Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II and Salesforce Architect are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits
• Experience with Salesforce integration tools and techniques (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce Connect, Middleware).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex requirements and propose innovative solutions.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate professionally, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to internal and external stakeholders
• Proven track record of delivery high-quality Salesforce solutions on Tine and within budget
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools.
• Must be located in Charlotte NC area and able to work on-site at client location in Charlotte NC
• Client ownership/client engagement experience preferred
• Comfortable working within a defined budget and coordinating efforts with other teams
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $77,200 - $213,800.
