Position Description:

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Participate in the full software development life cycle from scoping, analysis, design, implementation, and quality assurance to delivery and support• Lead on-site and remote team members in custom software development projects, assigning tasks, meeting with clients, and working with the Project Manager to ensure quality and on-time delivery• Mentor new and junior team members• Collaborate with team members to find better, more efficient ways of doing things• Solve challenging business and technical problems to meet client needs• Design and implement multi-tier software using the latest technologies• Apply DevOps practices to help our clients mature their software delivery capabilities• Be part of a fast-paced team providing leading IT solutions to local enterprise clientsProvide technical assessments and recommendations of future software solutionsWork with development teams to prepare estimates for software solutions

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Management or Computer Information Systems (MIS or CIS) or directly related degree required• Minimum 5 years experience developing enterprise, full lifecycle solutions using .NET and a variety of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, as well as JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React• Experience with .NET Core, Asp.Net MVC, and WebAPI.• Experience working with ORM such as Entity Framework• Experience with building end-to-end web applications and/or web services (REST and/or SOAP)• Experience working in a variety of front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React is a plusExperience with T-SQL and writing stored procedures for business applications is a plusExperience with responsive web design is a plus• Experience working with a variety of data sources both relational and otherwise is a plus• Experience in building software for deployment on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is a plus• Familiar with the DevOps model such as Azure DevOps is a plus• Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and related tools such as Docker and Terraform is a nice to have• Experience working in an Agile delivery model is a plus• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and good attention to detail• Ability to recognize business needs, analyze requests, recommend solid technical solutions, and do hands-on development/delivery of the solution• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with a diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter experts
