Government Secure Solution CGI, Inc. is seeking Material Handlers to support our Navy client in Charleston, SC. These individuals will be responsible for providing material inventory, packaging and kitting.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Maintain proper material tracking during initial receipt of material, inventory, packaging and kitting efforts
Organize large quantity of material for MIL-SPEC packaging and kitting effort
Understand written material packaging and kitting processes and work instructions
Perform inventory control and quality checks during all packaging and kitting efforts
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
US Citizenship is required
Experience working in a logistical area with multiple projects that have material being received, inventoried, kitted, packaging and shipping
Ability to stand and stoop for prolonged periods of time
Good interpersonal skills
Lifting of heavy equipment (45 lbs.) maybe required
This position requires the member to work 1st shift (7:00AM - 3:30PM)
Ability to successfully complete the GSSC Background Investigation
Ability to work as a team member on assigned tasks to meet project goals
Strong written and verbal communication skills for team participation
- Experience working with MIL-SPEC packaging material (vapor barrier foil, heat rollers, packaging and crating)
