Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Full Stack Developer who is highly proficient with Angular Framework. We’re seeking someone who embraces modern software engineering practices, including Continuous Integration, Specification by Example, and Behavior/Test Driven Development (BDD, TDD), along with the relevant tools.

This role can be performed in Bloomfield, CT, New York, NY, Lafayette, LA, Denver, CO, Philadelphia, PA, Chattanooga, TN, Raleigh, NC, Austin, TX in a hybrid schedule.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Construct visualizations that are able to smoothly and accurately depict data in web-based user portals.

Work seamlessly with the rest of the engineering team (e.g. back-end & front-end developers).

Work with product team and UX designers to understand user interactions and iteratively build customer-facing features.

Ability to work in an agile environment and iterate quickly based on customer and internal feedback.

Participate in design discussions, helping us decide our best ways of building new features.

Break down, oversee, and deliver stories to advance our product using the Agile SCRUM methodology.

Mentor others in your area of expertise, with less experienced technical staff; may use high end development tools to assist or facilitate development process.

Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product, and Support teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Demonstrated success in actively contributing to large consulting projects.

Proven experience with responsive website design

Total 8 + years of experience with 5+ years of experience with Angular / HTML / CSS / Typescript/ JavaScript

Experience with public APIs and multi-modal services.

4+ years of experience in Python scripting, and API building.

3+ years of experience of SQL/NoSQL, SQL Queries.

Experience working on large-scale web initiatives & single page web applications.

Experience with Linux systems (bash), Git, TDD and basic unit-testing.

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Desired qualifications:

Experience with MonoRepo environment.

Knowledge of best practices commonly used modules and creating self-contained reusable and testable modules and components.

Dedicated team player who can lead a project and have worked on large-scale applications.

Develop test protocols or plan for testing revised application and review test results.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $96,500- $185,800.
