Position Description:

As a Cloud Consultant, you will engage in a high-energy and tech savvy world. We are looking for an individual who has exceptional interpersonal skills, is customer service focused, and has a proven track record of delivering “best in class” Cloud Storage Infrastructure and emerging technologies. As a Consultant , you must have the ability to guide and deploy solutions that solve critical problems for our clients.

You will be working with our client base of Fortune 500 companies to design and deploy emerging datacenter and cloud based storage solutions. The customer environments include the latest emerging technologies including public and on-prem Cloud and future state datacenter technologies.

This position requires 80-100% travel throughout North America.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting Fortune 500 clients in designing and deployment of Cloud and emerging technologies

• Design and deployment of hardware and software infrastructure solutions

• Migration design, planning, and Execution

• Storage and Cloud basic routine automation

• Storage Tier design and deployment in the Cloud

• Backup Solution development and deployment

• Private and Public Cloud Solution design

• Design and Deployment of Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure

• Project Planning, Solution design and deployment

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Strong Cloud and emerging technology skills

• Cloud Certification:

o AWS, Azure, Google

• Storage Solution Design in Cloud environments

o Datacenter to Cloud Migration planning, design, execution, and testing

o Datacenter to cloud backup solution design and deployment, and testing

o Datacenter to cloud DR solution design, deployment, and testing

o Datacenter to Cloud storage tiering design and deployment

o Enterprise Application Deployment to Cloud

o Cloud Data Optimization – Monitoring and Controlling data

o NetApp Cloud, Emerging Technologies, and Datacenter Solution experience

• NetApp Solution Experience

o Automation of routine storage and Cloud functions

• Proven experience deploying cloud infrastructure and solutions

• Ability to act as a trusted advisor and interact with account teams

• Ability to develop requirements and turn them into functional solutions.

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently, remotely.

• Ability to work effectively on an Agile team

• Understanding of storage concepts in data center and cloud environments

An ideal candidate will also have:

• Prior experience with storage platforms such as NetApp or EMC

• Enterprise application experience with SAP, Oracle, People Soft, or Exchange

• Previous experience working with account teams in a pre-sales capacity
