Your future duties and responsibilities:
The primary duties of the Financial Analyst include full life cycle project accounting, revenue recognition, client billing, analysis to financial metrics and vendor management. You should possess solid analytical, organizational, and time-management skills along with being adept at managing workload, prioritizing and knowing when (and how) to raise issues. Additionally, this person must be strategic and assertive in a fast-paced environment. Much of this job is working in Microsoft Excel, so the ability to work efficiently in spreadsheets is a high priority.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
2-4 years of solid accounting and/or finance knowledge. An understanding of technical accounting coupled with experience in the corporate world is essential. Strong analytical skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment. Above all, the successful candidate must be team focused, be willing to serve in multiple roles, and have a can-do demeanor.
Bringing an outstanding work ethic, excellent technical skills, demonstrated self-directed career achievement to date as well as proven track record to provide creative solutions and initiate change will lead to success in this role.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $44,000 - $91,700.
