The Business Process Analyst will support process, technology, and people transformation change management initiatives for a variety of groups within the client’s organization. This includes working with clients to assess their current business processes, identify gaps, opportunities for optimization. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles, methodologies, and tools (DMAIC, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis).

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office with work performed at client site in Arlington however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Apply Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies to evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for optimization

• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements and customer pain points

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance the client’s operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Assist in the creation of low-fidelity prototypes or mock-ups to test proposed solutions and gather stakeholder feedback.

• Assist in developing and implementing change management strategies to ensure the new processes are effectively integrated into the organization.

• Assist in developing and monitoring KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the new process and make adjustments as necessary.

• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.

• Maintain accurate documentation of process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and project documentation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; 5-8 years of experience in discipline

• Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma principals, methodologies, and tools (ex: DMAIC, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis)

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems

• Proficiency in process modeling methods and tools (ex: Visio, BPMN)

• Experience with data analysis tools (ex: SQL, Power BI)

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
