CGI is seeking a JIRA administrator to drive the meaningful adoption of JIRA Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool and related plug-ins for a large, geographically disperse project team using Agile/Scrum methodologies. This person will be both client and internal team facing, providing access and use guidance for all.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Implement, administer, configure, customize, and manage the Atlassian product suite (i.e.
JIRA ALM tool, JIRA related plug-ins, Confluence, HipChat) to support projects by:
•Creating, configuring, managing, and supporting complex and comprehensive JIRA workflows and security models
•Defining custom fields and creating various schemes such as screen schemes, security/permission schemes, and notification schemes
•Creating custom dashboards, filters, and reports
•Writing configuration, specification, and procedural documentation
•Providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice for the Atlassian product suite
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
•Must have a Bachelor's Degree
•Must have 3 -5 years of JIRA experience
•Experience with the following JIRA/Atlassian supporting tools:
-JIRA related plug-ins
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the CGI, subcontractor, and customer organizations
•Ability to prioritize and multi-task and strive to be proactive in order to manage deadlines across multiple projects
•Embodies the best practices of IT Service Management
•Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel and Word)
•Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is Required
