CGI Federal has a position for a Cybersecurity Lead at our Crystal City, VA location. The Cybersecurity Lead will be responsible for supporting the Cybersecurity policy and practice across multiple programs and will be managing the delivery of security consulting, advisory, and system integration services and managed security services across U.S. Federal for programs such as the Army Contract Writing System and working to support business development activities across the ERP and IT environments for our Defense clients. This includes playing a lead role, as directed, in managing cyber security teams that support the BUs in their BD and delivery activities throughout the entire opportunity life cycle, including prospecting for new customers, identifying opportunities for growth, leading in teaming decisions, and developing key customer win themes for pre-RFP and post-RFP activities.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
continually identify, assess, and improve technology implementation and delivery mechanisms.
Build a strong working relationship between BU account management, security delivery, and other delivery towers within the organization.
Keep up to date on security regulatory requirements and technologies and configurations needed to bring to bear a compliant delivery environment.
Provide day to day guidance with respect to innovations, automation's, and efficiency that can be implemented to improve client delivery while also developing new service offerings for profitable organic growth.
Recommend and implement improvements to the security services.
Be able to recommend and resolve conflicts between security and business objectives
Provide guidance and mentor-ship to security members, provide timely and accurate performance feedback, develop and maintain career growth and road map planning.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
15 years of experience.
Experience leading a security delivery team
Experience and extensive knowledge of incident handling processes and procedures, security and incident response monitoring, detection, preparation, of advanced threats
Program Management (PMP preferred)
Excellent Interpersonal skills
Knowledge of government and industry security regulations
Due to the nature of the government contract, US Citizenship is required.
