Position Description:

At CGI Federal's USPTO project, we are looking for AWS/Cloud Integration Engineer to deliver IT excellence and create innovative solutions in the Cloud. Work with us to form the best minds in cloud solutions and give innovative solutions to our USPTO clients on cutting-edge modernization projects.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • 5+ years of experience with AWS Cloud

  • Bachelors Degree or higher

  • Experience in AWS CloudFormation, AWS EC2, VPC, S3 and similar technologies

  • Communication skills in a DevOps environment with your team, managers, business units and stakeholders.

  • Embrace and focus on emerging technology and evangelize to the rest of the team

  • Understanding of Agile, DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is strongly desired

  • Needs to have the ability to develop and contribute in an IaC environment while working seamlessly in a distributed team via collaboration tools

  • Must own ability to learn fast, adapt to new technology and keep current with industry certifications

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge in Puppet/Ansible is highly desirable

Other desirable skills include:Azure, Jenkins, Cloudbees, Nexus, SonarQube, Agile Central (Rally), Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Microservice architecture, Azure Resource Manager, Python, Lambda, FedRAMP knowledge
